SKF Bearing Supply Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of this website and to every SKF bearing enquiry, written quotation and order handled by SKF Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.
Website Use
This website presents our SKF bearing range and lets you start an enquiry; by using it, you accept these terms.
- 1.1Use the site for lawful business purposes, such as reviewing the SKF ball, roller and mounted bearing range and sending procurement enquiries.
- 1.2Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, or submit false or misleading information.
- 1.3Product and application information on the site is general. It is not an offer and does not replace an engineering review of your machine design.
Enquiries and Buyer-Submitted Information
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit, because we prepare each quotation from it.
- 2.1Enquiries may be sent by WhatsApp or email. Please state your BOM line numbers, drawing revision, prototype and production quantities, per-item quantities, permitted alternatives, destination country and postcode, and required date.
- 2.2Check that your BOM is complete for final assembly, including any adapter sleeves or locking components your design requires.
- 2.3If a bearing designation is incomplete, send clear photographs of the markings and state what still needs to be confirmed. The exact execution and complete assembly should be settled before you accept a quotation.
- 2.4Tell us promptly if a drawing revision, BOM line or quantity changes. A change may require an updated quotation.
Effect of a Written Quotation
The written quotation is the controlling statement of what is offered; its terms prevail over website content and earlier messages.
| Item | What the quotation governs |
|---|---|
| Product model | The exact designation being offered |
| Quantity | Quantities per line; prototype, production and spare quantities can be listed separately |
| Price and currency | The price offered and the currency in which it applies |
| Availability | The supply status stated for each item |
| Estimated lead time | The expected timing stated for the quoted items |
| Validity | The period during which the quotation remains open |
| Shipping and tax terms | The applicable transport or tax terms stated in the quotation |
- 3.1Statements made on the website, by message or by email do not change the quotation unless we confirm the change in writing.
- 3.2The product documents to be supplied are those confirmed for the quotation or order concerned.
- 3.3After its validity period ends, a quotation must be reconfirmed before an order is placed against it.
Technical Changes and Substitutions
No technical change or substitute bearing proceeds without the buyer's approval.
- 4.1Any proposed alternative is identified separately from the originally requested designation, so it can be reviewed line by line.
- 4.2The buyer decides whether an alternative suits the application. Specifications should be approved by the buyer's design engineer or other responsible person before purchasing continues.
- 4.3An approved change may affect the quoted price, availability or lead time. The revised written quotation applies.
Order Confirmation
An order proceeds once the buyer has reviewed the written quotation and the order details have been confirmed.
- 5.1Before ordering, confirm the specification, quantities, delivery details, payment arrangements and commercial terms.
- 5.2Keep your order number, as it identifies the order in all later correspondence.
Shipping and Documents
The shipping method, dispatch arrangements and required transport documents are confirmed for each order.
- 6.1Tell us your destination and any document requirements early, so they can be addressed in the quotation and order confirmation.
- 6.2Transport and tax responsibilities follow the terms stated in the written quotation and order confirmation.
- 6.3Lead times are estimates unless the order confirmation states otherwise.
Inspection on Receipt
Inspect every delivery on receipt and report any discrepancy to us with your order number and photographs.
-
Product labels
Compare the labels with the ordered designations.
-
Quantities
Count each line against the order confirmation.
-
Visible condition
Check the packaging and the outward condition of the goods.
- 7.1Send your report to info@oemskf.com with the order number, the affected lines and photographs that show the discrepancy.
- 7.2Reporting periods and how a discrepancy is resolved follow the written quotation and order confirmation.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our responsibility for an order is defined by its written quotation and order confirmation.
- 8.1We are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on general website information without a written quotation.
- 8.2We are not responsible for errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete BOM data, drawing revisions, quantities or other buyer-submitted information.
- 8.3To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost production or lost profit, unless the order confirmation states otherwise.
- 8.4Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms and Contact
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page; each confirmed order remains subject to the terms stated in its own quotation and confirmation.
- 9.1Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms for website use.
- 9.2Direct questions about these terms to SKF Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd using the details below.
