About us

SKF Mechanical and Electrical Equipment: SKF bearings and mounting components, supplied to your equipment specification and BOM.

We are an SKF bearing supplier serving machine builders, component distributors and procurement teams worldwide.

Who we serve

Four kinds of SKF buyer, each buying differently

We serve equipment manufacturers, component distributors, industrial project procurement teams and maintenance and spares customers. Each brings a different list, and each gets a quote built around it.

Equipment manufacturers

Whole-machine assembly, prototype builds and series production. Prototype and production quantities run on different schedules, so they sit on separate lines of one project quote.

Component distributors

Bearings, housings, sleeves and locking components enquired together, each under its own designation.

Industrial project procurement teams

Quotes that stay consistent with the drawing revision and BOM, so nominally similar offers can be compared line by line.

Buying for more than one stage? Prototype, production and spares quantities can share one project quote.

Maintenance and spares customers

Old bearing with worn or incomplete markings? A clear photo of the marking starts the identification. Spares quantities are enquired separately from any new-build order.

How we work

Three principles behind every SKF quote

Your documents set the reference, the exact execution comes before the price, and technical decisions stay with you.

Your BOM and drawing revision are the reference

  • Enquiries handled by BOM line
  • Quote kept consistent with your drawing revision
  • Quantities listed by manufacturing stage

Exact execution confirmed, then quoted

  • Each SKF execution identified before the price
  • Complete assembly checked, including sleeves and locking parts
  • Written quote states designation, quantity, price, availability and lead time

Technical changes are approved by the buyer

  • Your design engineer approves specification and alternatives
  • Alternatives are identified separately from the original line
  • Procurement moves ahead once the change is confirmed

A machine-building perspective

Product selection that follows your component list

We choose products against the component list and the mechanical assembly requirements, because a bearing only counts once it fits the build. That view shapes how every line is checked.

  • Several bearing series, one enquiry

Ball, roller and mounted bearings from a single BOM are quoted together.

  • Assemblies checked for completeness

Sleeves and locking parts missed on a BOM are raised at enquiry, ahead of final assembly.

  • Quantities planned by build stage

Planners see prototype, production and spares needs with their own required dates.

Scope of supply

Ball, roller and mounted SKF bearings, plus the parts that fit them

Ball bearings

Deep groove and angular contact, from general machine assemblies to specified combined-load arrangements.

Roller bearings

Cylindrical, tapered and spherical, for industrial drives and heavier machine assemblies.

Mounted units

Insert bearings and bearing units for housed shaft support.

Mounting components

Housings, sleeves and locking components, each under its own designation.

In our customers' words

Specifications confirmed before the buyer commits

As a machine builder, we submit a bill of materials with ball, roller and mounted bearings all on one list. This supplier consolidated our SKF order into a single shipment, matched every line to our drawing spec, and delivered to our assembly plant on the confirmed date.
Erik JanssenErik Janssen
We required SKF super-precision angular contact bearings for a new spindle line. They confirmed the matching arrangement, preload class and lubrication specification before we committed to the PO. The machines passed our final run-in test with margin to spare.
Michael BauerMichael Bauer
Pricing on a production-quantity SKF deep groove bearing was competitive against our usual channel, and the packaging carried the genuine SKF hologram. Our quality team sampled the first batch and all measurements were within tolerance.

Serving international SKF bearing buyers worldwide

SKF Mechanical and Electrical Equipment sells globally and serves international procurement needs across machine assembly, part replacement and industrial projects.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Questions SKF bearing buyers ask us

How should prototype and production quantities be separated?

List them as separate quantities against each BOM line, with the date you need for each stage. We can then show prototype, production and spares quantities separately in the same project quote.

What information is required before considering an alternative?

We need the BOM line, the drawing revision and a note of which alternatives you allow. Any alternative is identified separately, and your design engineer approves the specification before procurement moves ahead.

Can you help if the marking on an old bearing is incomplete?

Yes. Send a clear photo of the marking and note which details still need confirming. We resolve the exact execution before you accept a product quote.
